Trash Services for March 21, 2022

CURBSIDE TRASH COLLECTION DELAYED

(Guam, March 22, 2022) – The Guam Solid Waste Authority (GSWA) today announced that there was a delay in trash services for Monday, March 21, 2022 due to operational issues. Trash collections for the following areas/streets will be completed on Tuesday, March 22, 2021.

Yigo/Dededo
Tun Juan Dolores Street, Chalan Tun Gregorio, Tun Tomas Dongo Street, Fatima Street, Tun Jose Street, Rosita Lane, Kayen Maria Kotes, Kayen Ediviges Kotes, Kayen Rosan Kotes, Chalan Josen Kotes, North/South Fakpi Court, North/South Sali Court, Kalalang Street, Kalalang Court, Kakkak Court, Senesan Court, Senesan Loop, Chunge Court, and Katsadan Paluma Street

"With the operational challenges, equipment breakdowns, and shortage of staff due to COVID-19, it is unfortunate that we could not complete today's trash collection routes,” said GSWA General Manager Irvin Slike. “We are working to fix these issues and improve our services. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we greatly appreciate our customers' continued understanding.”

Customers affected are reminded to keep carts curbside this evening. Notices and updates are posted on the GSWA website at www.gswa.guam.gov. Customers may also sign up for Recycle Email Reminders on the website to receive any updates as they arise.
