2023 Guam Child Care Art Contest: #guamkidmagic

Contest Dates: March 22 - April 18, 2023

Deadline: Contest Submissions (artwork + completed release form) must be received by either GDOE (Tiyan Headquarters - POC: Michelle Franquez) or GEDA (5th floor, ITC building - POC: Pinki Lujan) before 5pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Semi-finalist Selections (judges include representatives from Guam child care team, CAHA  & artists select semi-finalists: top 10 in each category): Week of April 24th

Online voting of selected semi-finalists to determine people's choice award winner (www.guamchildcare.com): April 28th - May 5th, 2023.

Winners announced the week of May 8


Contest Details: Open to all Guam’s currently enrolled elementary and middle school students (including homeschool), limit one entry per student.

Elementary Students ONLY: Coloring contest – available for download online, copies delivered to GDOE; see contest rules

Elementary & Middle School Students: Guam Kid Magic Art Contest: encourage students to submit two-dimensional artwork including paintings, drawings, computer-generated artwork, photographs (please see contest rules). Submissions can include Kiko and carabao family or other art relating to #guamkidmagic and the magic of after school and community programs.

• Three winners (elementary): 1st, 2nd place & people’s choice (selected online)
• Three winners (middle): 1st, 2nd place & people’s choice (selected online)

2023 Guam Childcare Art Contest: #guamkidmagic is now CLOSED

Online voting is open now through May 8, 2023 and the community is invited to view our semi-finalists artwork and vote daily to select our People's Choice award winners!

Prizes: VIP package from Pacific Islands Club - Guam & the Super American Circus; featured artwork online, in newspaper and in gallery display; winners prize package includes prizes from Fökai Industries, Dear Tree Art studio, RunGuam, Natibu Dance Academy and more!
